3 easy ways to fill your life with God's words
As Christians, we are commanded to saturate (fill/soak) our lives with God's words. Joshua 1:8, in particular, says, "This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night…"
The challenge then becomes how to achieve this. Here are three easy ways to fill your life with God's words.
Read the Bible
This might seem obvious but it is still important to say it. In order to fill up on God's words, you need to actually read and study the scriptures.
Place it all over
A great way to have God's words on your mind 24/7 is for you to see them every time. This can be achieved by writing certain verses and putting them up around your room, and entire house if you can. Literally being surrounded by the scriptures will definitely help your mind absorb the Bible in no time.
Apply it to your life
James 1:22 reads, "Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says."
As the verse rightly puts out, it's not enough to just read, you also have to do what it says in the appropriate situations.
Make God's words "a lamp for my feet, a light on my path" (Psalm 119:105).
